Characteristic and applications:

1. Exhibits excellent water solubility, decontamination, emulsification, lubrication, cleaning, dispersion, antistatic, and rust-prevention properties, along with superior electrolyte compatibility and stability under heat and alkaline conditions. It demonstrates resistance to acids, alkalis, hard water, inorganic salts, and high temperatures, while also possessing good biodegradability and low irritancy. Additionally, it possesses strong degreasing capability.

2. Exhibits antistatic properties, smoothness, wettability, and corrosion inhibition, serving as a raw material to enhance spinning performance in synthetic fiber processing. It possesses hygroscopicity and maintains excellent antistatic properties even at low temperatures, making it widely used as an antistatic agent in chemical fiber oiling agents. It is also utilized as an industrial alkaline cleaning agent and dry cleaner, a metalworking working fluid, an emulsifier for organophosphorus pesticides, and a primary component in textile oiling agents.

3. It serves as an excellent co-solvent, emulsifier for emulsion polymerization, pigment dispersant, cosmetic emulsifier, lubricating and dispersing agent for oil well drilling mud, deinking agent in papermaking industry, degreasing agent and leveling agent in leather industry, etc.

4. Exhibits excellent cleaning properties and is used to formulate highly effective and non-toxic detergents. Widely applied in the daily chemical industry, it serves as one of the primary components in shampoos, hair care products, and various cosmetics.

5. Higher activity and stability can be achieved at a pH of approximately 6–7. The recommended dosage range is 3–12%.

Main application scenarios:

With its broad hydrophobic-lipophilic balance (HLB), mildness, and excellent water solubility, AEO-9P is a versatile phosphate ester surfactant widely used in personal care, industrial cleaning, textile printing and dyeing, and other fields, offering a much wider range of applications than AEO-3P.

1. Personal care (core applications)

As a key ingredient in skincare products, it focuses on gentle cleansing and smooth conditioning, replacing some highly irritating anionic surfactants.

Shampoo and conditioner: Enhance hair smoothness, reduce static electricity, and improve combability, suitable for medium-dry hair care.

Shower gel, facial cleanser, hand soap: gently cleanses the skin without excessive oil removal that causes dryness, suitable for mild and nourishing skincare products.

Skincare lotion and makeup remover: Functioning as emulsifiers, they enhance the compatibility between oil and water phases, ensuring a more stable product texture.

2. Industrial and Civil Cleaning Fields

Compatible with various water-based cleaning agents, balancing cleaning efficacy and system stability.

Household cleaning agents: dishwashing detergents, fruit and vegetable cleaning agents, hard surface cleaners (tile, glass), mild and residue-free, with fine foam that is easy to rinse off;

Industrial detergents: metalworking cleaning agents, equipment degreasing agents, and textile industry cleaning agents. Their low degreasing power reduces damage to metal surfaces and fibers while providing mild rust prevention.

Special cleaning agents: electronic component cleaning agents, food processing equipment cleaning agents, meeting environmental protection and low residue requirements.

3. Textile Printing and Dyeing Industry

As a versatile additive, it is compatible with textile pretreatment and dyeing processes:

Pre-treatment: The penetration agent, cooking agent, cleaning agent, and enhancing agent improve the penetration efficiency on fibers, remove oil stains and impurities from textile raw materials without damaging the fibers.

Dyeing: Uniforming agents and dispersants ensure even dye distribution on fiber surfaces, reducing color mottling and variations while enhancing color vibrancy.

Synthetic fiber oiling agent: An oiling agent component for synthetic fibers (polyester, nylon) that endows fibers with antistatic and smoothing properties, improving their spinning performance.

4. Other industrial sectors

Leather industry: Leather degreasing agent and leveling agent, gently removes surface oils without damaging leather fibers, enhancing dyeing uniformity.

Paint/Ink: Pigment dispersant that enhances pigment dispersion in aqueous coatings, prevents pigment agglomeration, and improves coating leveling.

Pesticide Chemicals: Pesticide emulsifiers, compatible with aqueous pesticide formulations, enhance the emulsification and spreading properties of pesticides, and improve their efficacy.

Electroplating industry: Additives for electroplating solutions that enhance coating uniformity and gloss, while providing mild corrosion inhibition to protect the substrate.

Usage Notes:

1. Handling precautions: Unneutralized AEO-9P is an acidic viscous liquid with mild corrosiveness. Rubber gloves and goggles must be worn during handling to avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. In case of accidental contact, immediately rinse with large amounts of water for 10–15 minutes.

2 Neutralization and Mixing: In industrial applications, triethanolamine, sodium hydroxide, or ammonia is typically used to neutralize the solution to a pH range of 5.0–8.0. This significantly reduces irritation, enhances water solubility and stability, and allows for pH adjustment as needed to match the system requirements.

3 Storage Conditions: Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse, away from ignition sources and heat sources, and protect from direct sunlight. Maintain storage temperature between 5–35°C to prevent freezing at low temperatures or deterioration at high temperatures. Shelf life is 12 months (under sealed conditions).

Packaging and Storage:

Store in plastic drums of 50KG or 200KG capacity, in a cool, well-ventilated, and dry place, and transport as general chemicals.

Shelf life: 2 years.
