Ethoxylate Series
Ethoxy compounds are nonionic surfactants that do not dissociate when dissolved in water. The lipophilic groups in their molecules are basically the same as those of ionic surfactants. They also contain a certain amount of oxygen-containing hydrophilic groups such as hydroxyl groups and polyethylene groups. Oxyethylene chain, non-ionic surfactant has high stability because it does not exist in an ionic state, is not easily affected by the presence of strong electrolytes, is not easily affected by acids and bases, and has good compatibility with other surfactants on the solid surface. It does not undergo strong adsorption and has many functions such as good washing, dispersing, foaming, wetting, solubilizing, antistatic, anti-corrosion, sterilization and protective colloid. It is widely used in textiles, papermaking, food, plastics, leather, glass , petroleum, chemical fiber, medicine, pesticides, coatings, dyes, fertilizers, film, mineral processing, building materials, environmental protection, cosmetics, fire protection, agriculture, etc.
