Characteristic and applications:
2-Ethylhexyl phosphate is an anionic surfactant with CAS No. 12645-31-7. It appears as a colorless to light yellow viscous liquid and is readily soluble in alkaline solutions. Featuring high solubility, resistance to hard water, acid and high temperature, strong emulsifying and dispersing ability, excellent wettability and ready biodegradability, it is mainly used as a penetrant and wetting agent. In the sodium sulfite scouring and bleaching process, it can inhibit the agglomeration of other surfactants and prevent the formation of white spots. As a new-type leather penetrant, it can completely replace JFC.
2-Ethylhexyl phosphate is an anionic surfactant with such characteristics as excellent permeability, resistance to hard water, acid and high temperature, strong emulsifying and dispersing performance, good wettability and easy biodegradation. It can be used as an extractant for rare earth metals, plastic plasticizer, wetting agent, and raw material for surfactants, etc.
