Isotrideceth-3 at room temperature is in the form of a clear or slightly turbid liquid with a tendency to delaminate. At about -20°C it solidifies, while at 40°C it is a clear liquid with a light colour, i.e. up to 100 Hazen-scale. Among all products of the Isotridecanol ethoxylate series, this product is characterized by high hydrophobicity and low cloud point in the 48 ÷ 51°C range (in butyl-glycol / water solution). When combined with water, it forms emulsions because of poor water solubility.
